The ACS GGCI Pharmaceutical Roundtable (GCIPR) is looking for an enthusiastic, mission-driven intern to join our team for the 2026 academic year. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with industry scientists, support high-impact green chemistry projects, and help shape tools and educational resources that advance sustainable science worldwide.
Who We’re Looking For
- Upper‑class undergraduates or graduate students in chemistry or related physical sciences with a demonstrated interest in green chemistry & sustainability
- Strong quantitative and logical reasoning skills
- Solid understanding of synthetic chemistry and analytical methods
- Excellent communication, organization, and project‑management abilities
- Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new software
What You’ll Do
- Support development of green chemistry and quantitative tools
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders, developers, and volunteers
- Assist with educational platforms & course materials
- Proofread, review, and give actionable feedback on technical content
- Create surveys and analyze collected data
- Help with administrative and communication tasks
- Process financial invoices and track project timelines
