Peptides, Pepteins, and Proteins: Greener Biomolecule Production and Analysis
Sustainability awareness has increased throughout the chemical and biochemical industries. This awareness has resulted in a desire to improve production processes using greener approaches. This session will share technological advances to reduce the environmental impact of biomolecule production and will include sustainability advances in solid-phase peptide synthesis, hybrid approaches to peptide production, recombinant peptide and peptein production, protein production, and analysis methods enabling these advances.
Session Organizers: Matthew Sobansky, Zoetis
Presented at the
GC&E Conference
This session will be presented at the 29th Annual Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference, which will be held in Pittsburgh, PA, on June 23-26, 2025. Call for abstracts is open January 3–February 14, 2025. For more information, see www.gcande.org.
